1264 - Extending Hiatus

So when I returned from vacation I brought my MacBook to Apple. They discovered my hard drive is failing. I brought it home to back everything up but it seems it’s failed now so I’m not sure I can even get anything back. I am bringing it back to Apple tomorrow to get a new hard drive, but it’s going to take a few days before I have it back. I will be reading and commenting on your entries but I won’t be updating. I really hate updating on my phone, especially since I have a lot to write because of my vacation. Hope everything is well with all of you!

Aww that sucks, I hope that Apple can manage to save it for you :( I hate writing out long entries on my phone too.

Thank you! Apple doesn’t do data recovery unfortunately, but they will replace the hard drive. I tried some things myself but have given up and am going to Best Buy tomorrow to see if Geek Squad can do anything. Fingers crossed they can still recover my data!!
